One of Mr. Donovan’s most recent ventures is ECCO BOSTON, a popular, chic East Boston-based restaurant. Mr. Donovan, along with partners, David Modica and the Santarpio group, embarked on the joint venture in 2006.
By 2008, the partners had turned the site into an award-winning eating establishment. ECCO BOSTON has received numerous culinary accolades including, Opentable.com , Diner’s Choice 2010, and a featured mention in Boston.com’s “8 Great Dates in Boston,” among others.
